Titer on Chip™
The Titer on Chip for influenza protein quantification (Flu-TOC) platform is a novel, microarray-based approach to multiplexed protein quantification with a range of potential applications in vaccine development and public health. The first application of Flu-TOC is as a time-and cost-saving alternative to the current gold standard method for quantifying influenza hemagglutinin in flu vaccines. Flu-TOC is funded through NIH/NIAID SBIR grant and is expected to launch in 2014.
The FluChip project, currently funded by NIH/NIAID (SBIR program), is an assay and instrument platform that is anticipated to dramatically expand influenza surveillance by providing a high-information, cost-effective microarray assay for genotyping influenza viruses – all in a sample-to-result cartridge.
