InDevR currently offers instrumentation and assay products for Virus Quantification, Pathogen Detection and Identification, Colorimetric Detection on Microarrays and other Microarray Supplies.

VIRUS QUANTIFICATION

The Virus Counter is a revolutionary new instrument developed explicitly for virus quantification. The instrument is a compact flow-cytometer uniquely optimized for viruses.

Virus Counter – Available for Purchase or Lease:

  • Delivers a quantitative measurement of the number of intact, virus-like particles per mL within minutes
  • Provides a time- and cost-effective alternative to TEM, plaque titer assays and immunoassays
  • Streamlines R&D efforts with greater efficiency and faster results for microbiological analysis
  • Offers easy-to-use, intuitive software for real-time data analysis
  • High impact for vaccine research and development and antiviral research

Pathogen Detection and Identification

InDevR is working to develop inexpensive low-density microarrays for simultaneous analysis of a variety of pathogens. These microarrays offer a significant cost and time savings over high-density microarrays.

FluChip – Available for Research:

  • Fast and reliable amplification of molecular targets for detection on low-density microarray
  • Simultaneously detects and discriminates between both seasonal and non-seasonal influenza viruses
  • A single multiplexed test that provides same-day results
  • Easy-to-interpret visual results
  • Ideal for research and surveillance applications

COLORIMETRIC DETECTION TECHNOLOGY FOR MICROARRAYS

ampliPHOX colorimetric detection is an inexpensive alternative to fluorescence detection for both nucleic acid and protein applications. Rather than a fluorescent label, ampliPHOX detection utilizes a photoinitiator that, when activated by light, generates signal amplification through polymerization of an organic monomer.

The detection technology is easy to use and can be completed within minutes when applied to low-density microarrays. The ampliPHOX Reader is used to activate photopolymerization on low-density microarrays, to image the resulting pattern of visual spots, and automatically interpret the image – providing the user with immediate results.

ampliPHOX Detection Technology – Available for Research:

  • Proprietary detection technology that provides visual, colorimetric results for low-density microarrays within minutes after hybridization
  • ampliPHOX Reader is significantly less expensive than fluorescence microarray scanners
  • Automated image analysis available
  • Light weight and compact
  • No capital equipment costs
  • Reagents are inexpensive and easy-to-use
